Amazing News: We have two new pool tables!

Following the Hampshire Chronicle article requesting the public to ‘pool in’ towards a pool table, Winchester Street Reach has acquired not one but two pool tables for local young people to enjoy.

After the article with the GoFundMe link was shared, the organisation was taken aback by the influx of support they received. “We’re ecstatic about the response and support we have received! A big thank you to everyone who donated and the additional offers that came with it. We are especially grateful to Liberty Games who we sourced the table from for Unit 12, as well as an additional one for our youth club in Micheldever” said Lottie Clist, Operations Manager. 

The tables make a huge difference to the spaces and will definitely increase engagement for young people. Liberty Games is the largest amusement supplier to the home market in the UK. “Meeting young people where they’re at”. Winchester Street Reach is a young person’s charity operating in Winchester and the surrounding areas. They deliver year-round, street-based outreach to young people in communities across Winchester, known as detached youth work. They also run a range of centre based projects and residential trips. Their work is open to all young people and is particularly targeted to those experiencing disadvantage.
